NUTRITION IS HERE!

The Downtown YMCA is now offering nutrition counselling to our members!  Suzanne Pirkle can meet with members in group settings or one on one to assist you with your healthy eatining goals.  Individual sessions can be hour long or half hours for those on the go.  Contact Jayme or Suzanne for more information!

WOW - Women on Weights

Women on Weights (WOW) is an 8 week resistance training program designed for women who want to tone up and increase lean muscle mass while losing fat and improving overall health.  Participants will learn the basics of weight training using free weights, machines, and bosy weight before progressing to more advanced strength training workouts incorporating circuit training, core, balabnce and plyometrics.

With Women on Weights, you'll get a great workout, get a chance to make new friends and reconnect with old ones, have more energy for your family time and make yourself stronger in spirit, mind and body.
